SSUET is the first university offered BS biomedical engineering in pakistan. today Biomedical engineer who are passed from SSUET  are doing jobs in pakistan and as well as abroad SSUET is well known university in pakistan in biomedical engineering field.The candidates who aim at taking up the degree courses in biomedical engineering  should be by character and aptitude capable of profiting themselves from the instructions at the University. The main objectives of these courses is to provide the students with a thorough grasp of the fundamentals on which the modern engineering sciences are based.Theoretical instructions are supplemented with relevant experimental work in labortories.Comprehensive instructional programmes are designed to stress the rational and analytical approach to Engineering problems. They prepare young Professional Engineer, who may to choose to work in the field or undertake advanced studies and research.

The students who comply with the conditions prescribed by the University and successfully complete their courses and pass the required University Examinations will be awarded by the University, the Degree of B.S in Bio-Medical Engineering.

Admission Criteria:

Admission will be granted to First Semester Class of Bachelor's Degree Programme in Bio-Medical Engineering. The admission will be offered on the basis of Academic Record, Admission Test and Interview to be conducted by the University.

Qualification for Engineering:

The minimum academic qualification is HSC/Intermediate (Pre-Engineering with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or equivalent (to be decided by SSUET) with fifty five percent aggregate marks (Including 20 marks for the Hafiz-e-Quran).
